Software developer & infrastructure engineer focused on building reliable systems — from the network layer up to the cloud.
About
I'm a tech enthusiast with a passion for building and maintaining systems that just work. I enjoy working across the full stack — from low-level networking and infrastructure to writing clean application code.
I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of software and infrastructure — things like containerisation, automation, and cloud architecture. I believe in building things you can actually understand and control.
Outside of work, I run a self-hosted homelab on my NAS — experimenting with Docker, container orchestration, and self-hosted services.

Projects
A NAS-based homelab running containerised services including a Git server, game servers, VPN access via Tailscale, and monitoring with Netdata. Managed through Portainer CE.
This very site — designed and self-hosted on my NAS using Nginx running in a Docker container. A practical exercise in web hosting, container networking, and front-end development.
A fully self-hosted AI environment running Ollama with Open WebUI — allowing local inference with large language models entirely on-premises. No cloud dependency, full data privacy, and accessible across the network via a clean web interface.
An Android livestock management app for Australian cattle farmers. Track individual animals, log treatments, record calvings, manage sales, and maintain full herd history — all on-device with no cloud dependency. Built with Jetpack Compose, Room, and MVVM architecture.
A fully offline Android password manager with AES-256 encryption, biometric authentication, and a master password hashed via PBKDF2. Credentials are stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database — no cloud, no accounts. Includes a password generator, custom categories, and encrypted backup and restore.
